IME-5500 is designed to receive, multiplex, convert and multiply NMEA 0183 standard messages transmitted via RS-422 / RS-485 interfaces, Ethernet and USB with customized operation algorithm (= scheme).

The Product is designed to receive messages from NMEA 0183 signal sources (via eight RS232 and RS-422/485 input ports and one USB port), combine them in dif- ferent combinations into one packet according to user settings, and output them to con- sumers of NMEA 0183 signal (via four RS232 and RS-422/485 output ports and one USB port).
